New Studios!

New Studios at GRN

We’ve long dreamed of expanding our studios at Prospect, NSW, to better serve God’s mission. With your support, we can now build three new studios

For the past few months a few handy people have been in our warehouse making over 140 acoustic panels! They have been sawing, sanding, hammering, gluing and staining. This herculean effort will save many thousands of dollars and improve the sound quality of the studios.

We plan on building three studios in the area where we assembled the Sabers. One will be large, able to accommodate a group or band and be useful for videoing and creating sound effects. It will have a control room that will also double as an editing room and there will be a third small studio.

This extra capacity is much needed as we currently have more studio staff than rooms in which to house them, so studio work is being done in the corridor. New studios will also increase our capacity to remaster old recordings and make them available online.

It will also prove useful when we bring in recordists from around the world for training. We have highly skilled audio specialists and it makes sense to provide here where trainees have access to a variety of experts with different areas of expertise. However, that has paused due to problems finding space for them to work and be trained.

We are also desperately needing space to make quality videos for training and communications.

The GRN studio team is vital to the work of GRN both locally and internationally. We praise God for growing our team to the point of overcrowding in the office, but now we need to trust Him to make the space needed to continue our ministry. 

We have been working on expansion plans for the last few years and now we are ready to build. Lord willing, we will start construction in early 2026. The builder expects the project to take 3-4 months. We look forward to taking possession of our new studios which will include one large studio (for bands or groups) with a control room that can double as a production studio. We will also build a third smaller production studio for editing and mastering audio and video.

Please consider investing your time to pray for the success of this project and if possible, your means as we prayerfully seek $600,000 to build these studios.
