Recordist Training in Thailand

The next generation of recordists...

In mid October 2022, I travelled to Chiang Mai, Thailand  to join with 20 other people for part of a 6 week intensive training to begin learning how to research, identify needs and record gospel stories in minority language groups.

We commenced each day in the Word of God, before having sessions which focussed on each of these different skills that are needed in our ministry.  I had the opportunity to teach about the recording equipment, as well as basic listening and awareness skills. These concepts are often difficult to understand, and we were very blessed with our translator, who greatly assisted in getting these concepts understood across the language divide.
Please pray for our trainees. These young people have unique opportunities to work in minority language groups in their local communities where there is much need. Please join us in praying for their protection, boldness and future opportunities to share God’s word.
