New Studios at GRN

We have been working on plans to build more studios in our Head Office at Prospect, NSW, for a long, long time! 

Earlier this year, a few handy people made over 140 acoustic panels in our warehouse! They have been sawed, sanded, hammered, glued and stained. While this herculean effort will save many thousands of dollars and improve the sound quality of the studios, we have reached the limit of our skills. Thankfully, the plans are now finalised and we have engaged a builder to commence construction of 3 new studios. 

The studios will be built inside our existing office space where we used to assemble the Saber MP3 players. One studio will be large, able to accommodate a group or band and be useful for videoing and creating sound effects. It will have a control room that will also double as an editing room and there will be a third small production studio.

This extra capacity is much needed as we often have recordists doing studio work in the corridors. It will also prove useful when we bring in recordists from around the world for training. We have highly skilled audio specialists in our Australian office, and it makes sense to provide a place where trainees from around the world can access our specialists to improve their skills so they make better recordings of the story of Jesus in other languages.

These studios will be an ongoing, long-term investment in Gospel ministry. Allowing GRN to increase the number of recordists we have making and editing recordings, and providing excellent, cost-effective training for our recordists from around the world now and in the future. 

Please pray as we get ready for construction of the new studios to begin in early 2026. Pray also as we ask God to provide the funds to pay for the new studios. We are expecting the new studios to cost $600,000.
