Leadership Matters

A GRN Project

GRN staff training

It is important to ensure those with leadership qualities are mentored and trained

It is so important that we prepare our up and coming leaders well so they are ready when the time comes for them to step up and become a country director or global ministry co-ordinator.

GRN has identified 20 people who are serving well in their current roles and could well find themselves serving in leadership in the future. We would like to sponsor them on a Leadership Matters course which has been highly recommended to us by one of our Asian Centre Directors. This two week residential course is intensive and practical.

In some cases it make sense to also send their director. We hope that this will allow them to help their director implement some of what they learn together immediately for the benefit of their centre and ministry. We have several current directors identified.

The course costs around AU$1,300 per person and we are hoping to make this training accessible for 20 of our staff from developing countries. Each participant will have travel costs of approximately AU$2,500.

Our first group will be three Africans. Kish and Joshua from Nigeria and Walter from Kenya.  They are now in the process of making travel plans. GRN Australia is pleased to help our overseas staff grow in their leadership capacity and would like to send AU$76,000.

Would you considering giving towards this project?

Please pray for the current and future leaders of GRN, that God would help them grow in their faith and ministry and they would lead GRN into the future with wisdom and faith.

Educating our Children

Educating our children is a priority of GRN. The cost of education in some of the less developed countries around the world is an enormous barrier to GRN recruiting recordists and other staff. You can help ease this burden for our families.
