Kumbhar Language Gospel Recordings

We have been praying and exploring opportunities to tell the story of Jesus in Indian languages ever since our Indian office closed several years ago. We are thankful for a finance volunteer from India who connected us with a ministry in Southern India.

Rev. Johnson, the ministry director, and his team are seeking to make disciples of a caste of potters who speak the Kumbhar language. The Kumbhar language has never been written and its speakers are poor and poorly educated. There are few Christians and no Christian resources available in their language.

We are working with their team as they translate, record and edit our Look, Listen and Live series into Kumbhar. Our studio team will then process and program the messages so Rev. Johnson and his team can use the audio-visual gospel recordings in their ministry.

Please pray for the successful production of useful recordings that will help the Kumbhar speaking potters come to understand the good news, repent and become disciples of Jesus. Please pray. Gifts towards this exciting project will be gratefully received.
