Meet Claud
Claud works in the Information Systems team. He’s responsible for administrative and user support and enhancing the overall quality of data in the GRN database and other repositories.
Claud was born into a Christian family and worked as an agricultural scientist and technical manager in South Africa. He also worked in the regulatory and compliance sector in New Zealand before moving to Australia where he held senior technical positions in several retail companies.
Claud joined GRN in early 2021 as a volunteer and, when he saw how valuable GRN’s ministry and mission is, he wanted to use his skills to assist GRN full-time. Claud became a staff member in May 2021 and is currently working as the Information Systems Administrator of GRN Australia, responsible for user support, data analysis and administration.
Claud is married to Val and they belong to Macquarie Chapel Presbyterian Church in Marsfield where Claud helps to manage the sound desk and the live streaming of services. He likes to spend his spare time caring for pets and wildlife, gardening, following motorsport, reading, listening to music and watching sport.
Claud is a Partner Agency Missionary with Global Recordings Network and Australian Presbyterian World Mission.
